Board of Directors
The Idaho Disc Golf Alliance is governed by a committed founding Board of Directors who bring together leadership experience, community involvement, and a deep commitment to the future of disc golf in Idaho.
As a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our board is intentionally structured for active oversight, strategic development, and hands-on leadership during this foundational stage. Each director serves with a fiduciary duty of care, loyalty, and obedience to ensure IDGA operates responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with its charitable mission.
We are not simply advocates of the sport — we are builders of its long-term infrastructure.

Board Chair
Carolina Halstead
Carolina began playing disc golf about eight years ago and started competing almost immediately as an amateur, later earning professional status and briefly touring on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. She became the first Discraft-sponsored player in her area.
Recognizing a need for stronger local infrastructure, she founded a disc golf club which hosts leagues and tournaments bringing new and seasoned players opportunities to compete and grow. She currently serves as the Idaho State Coordinator for the PDGA and is an active Tournament Director, running multiple events each year. Her professional background is in business management, with experience across both retail and service industries, which she applies to building sustainable, well-organized programs that support the growth of disc golf.

Secretary
Colby Andersen
Colby has been involved in disc golf for decades as both a professional player and a leader in the sport. He has competed throughout Idaho and surrounding states, building extensive experience at all levels of competition.
Based in Rupert, Idaho, Colby brings a background in the justice system, which has equipped him to work effectively with city leaders, government agencies, and community partners. He serves as a Tournament Director for multiple events in the region, including the premier A-Tier Idaho State Championship, and is known for his professionalism and commitment to quality event management.
A devoted family man with a genuine passion for disc golf, Colby is dedicated to growing the sport in a way that benefits players, communities, and future generations.

Treasurer
Andrea Cammack
Andrea has been involved in disc golf for several years and brings valuable experience from the retail side of the industry, giving her a strong understanding of budgeting, inventory management, and day-to-day operations. Her background provides a practical foundation for supporting sustainable growth within the sport.
After relocating from Eastern Idaho to the Boise area, Andrea became actively involved in the local disc golf community and now serves as Treasurer for the Idaho Disc Golf Alliance, as well as a board member of a local club. Her attention to detail and commitment to accountability help ensure sound financial oversight and transparency.
Driven by a genuine love for disc golf, Andrea is dedicated to strengthening the sport through responsible stewardship and community-focused leadership that benefits players across Idaho.
Foundational Leadership
IDGA’s founding board is deeply rooted in Idaho’s disc golf community. Our combined experience spans tournament leadership, club development, business operations, and strategic planning. We understand both the grassroots passion that drives the sport and the structural systems required to support its long-term sustainability.
As IDGA grows, our Board will expand thoughtfully to include additional regional representation and specialized expertise aligned with our mission.
Appointed Leadership
In addition to its Board of Directors, IDGA appoints volunteer leaders to advance regional coordination and program development. These roles operate under Board oversight and in alignment with adopted governance policies, supporting implementation of IDGA’s charitable mission across the state.

Eastern Idaho Regional Director
Sam Wilson
Sam was introduced to disc golf in 2020 and quickly became deeply involved in both competitive play and community leadership. Since then, he and his wife have competed in leagues and tournaments across multiple states, building strong connections within the sport locally and nationally.
In Eastern Idaho, Sam has contributed to course redesign and maintenance efforts and has served as Tournament Director for events hosting over 100 players. Known for running organized, competitive, and well-executed events, he is committed to creating high-quality experiences for players of all skill levels.
As Eastern Idaho Regional Director for the Idaho Disc Golf Alliance, Sam brings hands-on event management experience and a strong dedication to growing disc golf through structured leadership and community collaboration.

North Idaho Regional Director
Andy Parkison
Andy Parkison serves as the Idaho Disc Golf Alliance’s Regional Director for North Idaho, where he focuses on expanding youth opportunities and growing the next generation of disc golfers.
Previously based in California, Andy organized the California Youth Disc Golf Championships, recognized by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) as the largest free youth disc golf event in the United States. His work has centered on removing barriers for young players and creating accessible, community-driven events.
Now in Idaho, Andy brings his experience and passion to IDGA, helping develop youth programs and initiatives that will introduce more kids across the state to the sport of disc golf.
